Who can post a construction job on Workplus?
Anyone who needs a specialist on a construction or renovation job can post — builders, contractors and homeowners. Log in with an Australian mobile number, add the job, attach the purchase order, drawings and documents, and publish it to the Find Jobs board so subbies and trades can review the real scope before they apply.
How do I find construction jobs and apply?
Open Find Jobs to browse live listings posted when someone needs a subbie or specialist. Each card shows when the job was posted, the location, payment terms and the company. Open the listing to review the purchase order, drawings and documents, then log in. Company information including a valid ABN is required to apply.
What can a subbie see before taking the work?
A serious listing is more than a one-line ad. Subbies and specialists can open the job pack: the purchase order, drawings and documents attached to the listing. That is how you decide whether you can take the work, what is included, and what you are quoting against — before you apply with your ABN.
Is the AI site-visit quote free when I join?
Yes. After you log in with your mobile number, on-site quoting is included. Walk the job, take photos and add a few notes. Workplus AI writes the quote so you can send it from the site. You are not paying a separate quoting fee to use that workflow.
Can Workplus turn a purchase order into an invoice?
Yes. When the site already has a purchase order, Workplus turns that PO into an invoice without retyping the job. Line items stay with the record so you are not rebuilding the same paperwork back in the office. You can also photograph a PO you already hold and use it to find a subbie.
How do variations, receipts and customer quotes work?
Write a short note and AI drafts a variation you can send from your phone to the person in charge. Photograph a receipt and keep it with the job instead of a shoebox of dockets. On a residential visit, photos and a few notes become the document you send the customer, and the invoice can be formed from the same visit.
Can my team work on the same jobs?
Yes. Invite members so they can view and edit the same jobs, paperwork and records. Message the people on the job by SMS so the conversation stays with the work instead of being split across email and different messengers. That is how Workplus supports crew collaboration on Australian sites.
